Position: Short Term Investment Trader
Location: Boston
Department: Short Term Investment Management
Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the day to day liquidity management of client's portfolios via repurchase agreements and money market funds. Other responsibilities include assisting the Senior Short Term Investment Trader with the trading and analysis of corporate commercial paper, asset backed commercial paper, time deposits, and other short term securities. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years working experience in the investment management industry with a focus on short term fixed income securities.
Responsibilities include:
- Trading of repurchase agreements across various collateral types including Main Index Equities, Investment Grade Corporate Bonds, Government Agencies, and Treasuries as well as various currencies.
- Trade within asset classes as directed by the portfolio manager, such as certificates of deposits, corporate commercial paper, and government debt.
- Execute end of day money market liquidity trades with various money market fund providers.
- Monthly asset analysis and write up of current utilized money market funds as well as potential new money market funds.
- Monitor performance of portfolios under management with comparative benchmarks along with performance attribution, as well as provide market commentary and investor reporting.
- Maintain and grow broker dealer relationships
Desirable Skills:
- Broad understanding of various fixed income securities

Qualifications:

Position: Global Asset Servicing Associate

Job Description:
The Global Asset Servicing Associate supports the daily processing of global corporate actions within a securities lending operations group. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the mandatory and voluntary corporate action events.
Major Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Candidate will support the daily processing of global corporate actions and dividend collection ensuring the timely and accurate processing of events
- Maintain effective working knowledge of the various types of corporate action events, local market practices and adapt to new practices accordingly
- Communicate time sensitive corporate action material and dividend claims between multiple parties
- Maintain effective working relationships with lenders, borrowers and custodians
- Work closely with multiple groups within the operations team. Respond to inquires and resolve issues pertaining to corporate actions and dividend collection
- Proactively resolve issues
- Support the company's business units as needed
Qualifications:

Position: Senior Stock Loan Trader
Location: Boston

Job Description:
The Senior Stock Loan Trader is responsible for the daily negotiation of Securities Lending transactions and facilitating the lending of long inventory to maximize on loan balances at optimal fee/rate.
Major Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily trading/lending of discretionary pool of assets to our borrower base
- Monitoring: daily rates compared to open discretionary loans and market data provider to ensure optimal rates are achieved, manage the re-rate process, and monitor assigned asset types and countries on a daily basis.
- Transactions: Manage Scrip, Dividend, rights and other corporate action trades including valuing and negotiating with borrowers. Strong understanding of yield enhancement and the relevant characteristics of the corresponding stock loan transaction.
- Portfolio estimate process: identify relevant information and the potential revenue of a group of assets based on current lending markets and potential future revenue based on all factors (Existing/future demand, intrinsic value, corporate action value, DRP/Scrip value). Assimilate information and generate comprehensive revenue estimate.
- Exclusive Auction: proficiency in all aspects of the Auction process from portfolio valuation, auction lotting, pre-auction template, interaction with Client Relations and Portfolio Manager, marketing of auction, management of actual Auction. Valuation of Auction results, presentation to clients.
- Borrower relationship Management: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers both in person and remotely; maintenance and presentation of regular relationship status reports.
- Internal point of contact: interact with various groups internally (Settlements, recalls, corporate actions, compliance, legal and client relations) to manage and promote daily discretionary and exclusive lending.
- Problem resolution: Pro-active issue/problem assessment and resolution to insure minimal loan/return fails and accurate monthly billing.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BA/BS in accounting, finance, economics or related field required, Master's Degree/MBA,CFA highly desired.
- 5+ years experience as a stock loan trader or related experience.
- Ability to quickly become proficient in all markets and relevant trading opportunities.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills required as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Cognos, 4Sight systems and Dataexplorers beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and client facing experience desired, aptitude to collaborate with other departments and build internal relationships.
- Capability to travel 10-15% of the time

The Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the quality and performance of all production and test databases and supporting a group of 8 to 10 developers and 70 business users across locations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Provide database administration on production, development and test Oracle databases in a UNIX environment to ensure security, redundancy, scalability, and availability.
- Assist development and front-line support teams to troubleshoot problems and to enforce fundamentals of good database design.
- Test and manage vendor supplied upgrades and patches to the database.
- Work with network administrators to manage a successful backup and recovery strategy as it relates to Oracle databases.
- As part of the IT team, as needed provide 24X7 infrastructure support to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and certification in Oracle Technology
- 5 years experience working with databases including 2-3 years as a Database Administrator in a production environment
- Strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of Oracle 11g Administration in RAC environment, including Data Guard, Enterprise Manager, backup and recovery techniques
- Strong working knowledge of Unix fundamentals, best practices, and shell scripting
- Proficiency in PL/SQL
- Understanding of Oracle performance tuning concepts and techniques
- Experience with:
- Relational database design concepts and modeling tools
