Position: Client Relationship & Marketing Associate
Location: London

Job Description:
This experienced client relationship associate and marketing assistant will perform a cross departmental role, supporting the firm's European based clients, in addition to coordinating marketing support for European based business development activities.

Client Relationship Responsibilities:

The Client Relationship Associate will support the firm's Senior Client Relationship Managers across all European client accounts. The Associate will be responsible for the following client relationship support functions:

  • As part of a team, provide top quality service to a group of large institutional investors
  • Act as support to the company's senior relationship manager for daily programme questions/issues and reporting site monitoring and maintenance
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client monthly reporting packages, on-line reporting, risk reporting and any ad-hoc board reporting requirements
  • Ensure all client activity is well coordinated and managed internally across all functional teams including client program implementations, transitions and launches
  • Maintain quality control over products and services delivered to the client
  • Track and monitor all revenue and performance metrics for client programs – peer benchmarking, revenue run rate monitoring, performance analytics
  • Maintain client data on internal systems
  • Candidate will deal with issues arising from all aspects of the client relationship, working with the senior relationship manager and other key resources across the eSecLending organisation
  • Assist in the ongoing management, compliance and daily oversight of program activities
  • May require visits to client offices located in the UK and Western Europe for presentations and project work

Marketing Responsibilities:

The Marketing Associate will support the European Business Development team, coordinating closely with the company's Marketing and Communications team in the US. Primary responsibilities are as follows:

  • Brand management: ensure consistency of all marketing materials across EMEA marketing campaigns to ensure they meet global branding standards. Maintain the EMEA marketing library ensuring all materials are updated and available to the EMEA Business Development team
  • Support the company's business development efforts by creating and editing marketing collateral/presentations and coordinating EMEA RFP responses in conjunction with the lead Business Development Representative
  • Production of marketing collateral, including printing and shipping
  • Manage the Marketing and Communications EMEA industry subscriptions, including: tracking subscription deadlines and prices, coordinating with publications' Sales Representatives and organizing approval for subscription renewals
  • Coordinate company participation in EMEA industry conferences and events, including: management of corporate sponsorships, drafting awards submissions and nominations, coordinating hotel rooms, ordering and shipping promotional items, creation and editing of marketing presentations, coordinating client events
  • Managing sales revenue evaluation process, assistance with production of analysis and presentation of data
  • Support all sales and client meetings with meeting room preparation and receiving and hosting of guests to office
  • Administrative support of London office HR, Compliance and Finance functions as needed

Requirements:

BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field. Self-starter and team player with ability to coordinate responsibilities between London and Boston head office. This role is suitable for Candidates with a minimum of 3-4 years of marketing or client service related functions in financial services, preferably within securities lending, prime brokerage, custody or asset management. Knowledge of the securities lending industry, asset management, trading, treasury, and/or financial operations is desired.

  • Strong communication skills and excellent written work; proficient proof reader
  • High level competency and advanced skills with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio and CRM tools such as SalesForce are prerequisites. Familiarity with Bloomberg is desired.
  • Competent when working with numbers; solid math skills
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Proactive follow-through to ensure timely resolution and follow-up on any questions, issues or requests made by external parties or other areas within company
  • Professional and cooperative attitude in all dealings
  • Ability to handle many open tasks at once and shift priorities quickly as appropriate when new issues arises

Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel, this position is responsible for providing support to the company's Legal department in the context of contract negotiation and document maintenance, as well as maintenance of company books, records and files. This role also assists with projects as needed to accomplish legal objectives for the business.

Job Responsibilities:

Securities Lending Program

  • Provide transaction and administrative support, including document creation and negotiation, information organization, tracking, follow-up and filing
  • Auction website document creation and review
  • Pre- and post-auction documentation (including exclusive agreements, amendments and novations)
  • Draft and negotiate NDAs
  • Maintain and revise contract schedules, including tri-party account schedules and indemnity insurance schedules
  • Organize, scan and file legal documents, records and related files
  • Client and counterparty relations interfacing, support and problem resolution
  • Back-up support for other Legal/Compliance staff

Corporate

  • Monitor and maintain corporate books, including preparation of routine documents
  • Monitor and maintain company intellectual property portfolio and assist in filing trademark applications
  • General contract review for third party service providers, vendors, technology licensing, etc.
  • Support as needed with records maintenance and corporate filings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, associate's degree, certificate program in paralegal studies, or prior practical experience as a paralegal
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, principles and practices
  • Knowledge of legal research techniques
  • Knowledge of legal and business communication principles and practices
  • Relevant computer knowledge and experience
  • Proactive and self sufficient
  • Strong client service approach
  • General knowledge of securities lending preferred but not essential

The Software Developer is a member of the Application Development team, and is integral to providing systems solutions for securities auction, client reporting, and various other securities lending processes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities will Include:

  • Work with business users in requirements analysis to deliver technical solutions
  • Hands-on technical design and delivery of solutions
  • Plan and manage implementation and deployment of technical solutions
  • Assist with quality assurance testing

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience in Java
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience in J2EE Application Server/Hibernate/Spring/Struts
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience in JSP/Servlets
  • Experience developing enterprise reporting system utilizing a Java-based reporting tool is a plus Struts
  • Minimum of 5 years of SQL experience Struts
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Struts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities Struts

Desirable Skills:

  • Reporting SDK (i.e. JReport, JasperReport, Cognos)
  • Unix and shell scripting
